Desert Sand aerosol lacquer

is inspired by the warm, sandy tones of 1950s American guitars—most notably the Desert Sand finishes seen on classic Musicmaster and Duo-Sonic models. This nitrocellulose formula delivers exceptional clarity, depth, and a smooth, uniform finish, ideal for restorations or custom builds.

Apply to sanded bare wood, fillers, sealers, or stains at a 12–14″ spray distance. Use horizontal then vertical passes, applying multiple thin coats. Allow 24 hours drying time between coats and perform light sanding to eliminate any imperfections. Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment (70–75 °F/21–24 °C) for best results. For metallic effects, avoid sanding the final color coat before clear coating. Achieve a professional-grade vintage character with every spray.
